Seattle Goodwill has Luxe Looks for Less this Fall

Fall is officially here and Seattle Goodwill is here to help with autumn trends!

1. Luxe Royal

This opulent fall trend is all about rich fabrics like satin and velvet and royal colors like burgundy and deep purple. It’s fancy, and it’s a little bit over the top. Look for details like ruffles and bows and don’t forget to add a little (or a lot!) of bling. Our look features items from Fashion Focus and jewelry starting at $1.

2. Fall Floral

We often think about florals for springtime, but darker florals are VERY “in” for fall, especially when paired with soft sweaters and other bold prints. Stylist tip: Seattle Goodwill is well organized, but make sure to look down every aisle; I found this women’s skirt in the kids section and this floral blazer in the men’s section.

3. Playfully Sporty

Athletic brands like Nike and Adidas with comfy favorites like hoodies, jogger pants and sneakers are having a real moment, which is good news for anyone who loves comfort (and isn’t that everyone?). Get the look by combining items from the Active Wear section with trends from other areas of the store. Stylist tip: Look for the (color) tag, everything with this tag is $1.79.

4. Cozy Neutrals/Croc Details

You don’t have to wear a lot of bright colors to make a strong statement this fall. Neutrals like camel, khaki, brown can be just as exciting, especially when they are layered strategically and paired with the hottest runway trend of 2019: snakeskin!

5. Checks and Stripes

Geometric patterns like stripes, checks and plaids tend to style very well together, especially when they all feature a similar color. The great thing about building an outfit like this one—that looks totally designer!—is that no one else can own it! Seattle Goodwill is full of one of a kind fashion treasures, so you can be sure that no one else will have your exact look.

Looking for more ways to score fashionable finds? Seattle Goodwill’s online stores (especially eBay) are a good place to shop. Mark you calendars for the Seattle Goodwill Glitter Gala (November 2) and Glitter Sale (November 9 & 10).
