Seattle Goodwill has A+ looks for back to school!

Seattle Goodwill has everything families need to put together entire outfits - for less than the cost of a single item at a major department store! Goodwill's Katherine Boury gave us the 4-1-1 on some A+ looks for back to school.

Modern Retro

  • Key trend items: Vans sneakers, pleather/vegan leather skirts, 90s/2000s-era brands like Roots and vintage denim jackets.

Teens enjoy treasure hunting for unique pieces to create a one-of-a-kind look. Major retailers may offer 90s-inspired trend items, but Seattle Goodwill offers original vintage clothing from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s that no one else at school will have!

Seattle Goodwill is a great option for any teen who might be using their own money for back-to-school shopping, because a dollar goes so much further here than a department store.

Fall Flannels

  • Key trend items: Flannel shirts and denim

Teen girls want high-end brand name denim, and The Fashion Focus section at Seattle Goodwill offers major premium denim brands such as AG, Seven for all Mankind, Joe’s Jeans that would regularly cost upwards of $175.

The boy's section offers a range of denim from super skinny to wide leg in varying lengths, with many selections under $10 per pair. This is a great option for kids who are growing like crazy. Parents, remember to donate gently worn clothes as your kids outgrow them.

Flannel prints are a must-have for boys and girls of all ages in the Pacific Northwest. Seattle Goodwill has tons of flannel and plaid in almost every size. Look on the price tag for the featured color: this week, all items with a blue tag are $1.79.

Comfy Cool

  • Key trend items: comfortable knits and logo active wear

The most important factor for kids is COMFORT.

Some kids in elementary and middle school want sweatshirts and sweatpants in their favorite brands like Nike, Adidas, The North Face.

Some want leggings and printed dresses, like this one from a brand moms will recognize, for example - Boden.

More Money Savings Tips: Make sure to check and see which colored tags are on sale. For example - in honor of Labor Day, Seattle Goodwill is offering 40% off Pink & Red Tags... and Green Tags are just $1.29! Sales exclude outlet stores.
