Is 6 a.m. too early for a yoga/dance party? We think not

Before the day has even begun for most people, the DAYBREAKER crowd has gathered on the dance floor for a morning of yoga and dance. Once a month, the early-morning dance and yoga party descends on various locations around Seattle.

“Daybreaker is unlike anything else you have experienced. It is a non-stop energy packed morning filled with magic, mischief, sweat and smiles.” said Seattle producer, SarahRose Bernhardt “From the moment you walk into the venue, to the moment you leave, we pack in as much fun as we can - Yoga, Music, WOW, food and beverages - all before 9am,”

A few years ago, two friends in New York — Radha Agrawal, 36, the founder of Super Sprowtz, a children’s nutrition company, and Matthew Brimer, 28, a founder of the adult-education school General Assembly — dreamed up the DAYBREAK concept over late-night falafel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Before too long, the concept had spread to over 10 cities across the country. Seattle’s DAYBREAKER events launched last month with a splashy party at the EMP. Seattle’s Morning Masquerade takes place on Wednesday, October 26th at the Foundation Nightclub starting at 6 a.m. and features DJ Kryspin.

DAYBREAKER flips the script on “going out” by providing an amazing workout and time with a fun community all before your 9 a.m. conference call. DAYBREAKER holds regular events in not only Seattle but also in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, London and São Paulo, Brazil. The cost runs $20 to $40 a person, depending on whether you opt into pre-dance yoga or not. The morning is carefully curated and features some of Seattle’s best Yoga teachers, DJ's, Performers and Dancers as well as nourishing food and beverages.

DAYBREAKER brings out an eclectic mix of open-minded individuals who are looking for new experiences, human connection, and a positive outlook. Bernhardt loves DAYBREAKER because, "it is the perfect blend of my passions-Movement and Community. It is truly a gift to see the joy (and sweat) on everyone faces as they express themselves throughout the morning. There is nothing like being surrounded by hundreds of people who all share your same passion for music and movement. I love being a part of something greater than myself, and co-producing these events along with Royce and Austin Yuen is a dream come true!"

Come experience DAYBREAKER Seattle yourself on Wednesday, October 26th at the Foundation Nightclub.
