Need a scruffy new best friend? Good - because Argos needs a home!

Through our partnership with Saving Great Animals, we have found permanent and loving homes for four of our furry friends, George, Zoey, Jethro, and Pepper. We call it 'Refined to the Rescue' - where we take extra time to help SGA adopt out animals that are having an extra hard time finding a home.

If you hadn't already heard - Pepper, our last Refined to the Rescue pup, was successfully adopted out and is living happily ever after with Amy and Bob, a couple from Seattle.

YAY! But on to our new friend on the block! We would like to formally introduce you to Argos, a five-year-old Griffon Terrier Mix! If he isn't the cutest, scruffiest little man we've ever seen...

Argos was was found as a stray in Rialto County, CA in March of 2017, taken to an overpopulated animal control shelter and set to be euthanized.

Not if Saving Great Animals could help it! They brought him up to Washington, but he's been having trouble finding that perfect home. He's medium-sized, and they think his actual mix is wire-haired pointing griffon, and terrier (say that ten times fast)!

"Argos is technically five, but acts like a puppy!" said Jacintha Sayed with SGA. "He has a happy face with a friendly personality to match - super loving. He likes other dogs, too."

So, do you - or anyone you know - need a wiry little bundle of love in your life? SGA says Argos loves to go for walks, runs, hikes, and LOVES TO cuddle! He already knows several commands and is very smart, so talking him to obedience classes would be a great start for harnessing that intelligence :)

While he loves other dogs, he does not do well with cats - so feline-free houses only please. He also loves to wander, so a fenced in yard is a must

Argos is neutered, vaccinated and chipped.
