It should come as no surprise that our most viewed story for 2016 was the Fremont Solstice Parade. Hundreds of naked bike riders litter our relatively-safe-for-work gallery to give you a good idea what took place in Fremont the summer of 2016.

Every year we cover the Sea Gals all year including their first audition, the final auditions, their calendar unveiling and their performances at the game all year. And every year, you love it!
4. Seattle Pride Parade
Hundreds of thousands of people came out to the annual Seattle Pride Parade of 2016. The parade ran from Downtown Seattle to Seattle Center where people celebrated at Seattle PrideFest. The gallery exploded on the website!
Over ten thousand people came to the Tacoma Dome for the 2016 20th Annual FreakNight Electronic Music Festival Halloween weekend. The two-day event brings out wild costumes as fans dance the night away, go on rides and play carnival games.
6. Cupid Undie Run
Cupid's Undie Run is a one-mile fun run through South Lake Union in Seattle Valentine's Day weekend. Hundreds of participants stripped down to their underwear to raise money for the Children's Tumor Foundation. The pre and post run festivities took place at Art Marble 21.
7. Emerald City Comic Con
It's here! The premier comic book and pop culture convention in the Northwest happens every year at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle. Hundreds of people swarm the city dressed as their favorite characters to see panels, exhibitors and more. Here's our gallery from the first day of this crazy convention of 2016.
8. Bachelor Casting Call
Hundreds of hopefuls interviewed to be on ABC's The Bachelor show at in downtown Seattle at Pacific Place Friday June 10, 2016. Casting agents from the show come by Seattle every year, to much success! Our city has had finalists like Catherine Lowe, Jason Mesnick and Chris Siegfried. The event had free makeup/hair touchups from Aveda, dating advice from It's Just Lunch and drinks from Barnard Griffin, Gordon Biersch and Il Fornaio. 9. 72-hour disaster emergency survival kit

Emergency Preparation seemed to be on everyone's mind after THAT article was published in the New Yorker this past year. Our writer Rebecca Mongrain detailed her own journey packing up her first emergency kit for her and her family. Let's just say a looooot of people were interested in making their own kits!
10. Polar Bear Plunge
Over a thousand people took to Alki and Matthews Beach Park in Seattle, WA on January 1, 2016 for the annual Polar Bear Plunge. In near freezing conditions, participants waded, ran and dunked in - those who wanted a 'Polar Bear Patch' had to get deep enough to at least touch their chin to the water. 2017's annual plunge is coming up if you're interested!
