The wait is finally over. Upstream Music Fest + Summit announced their full and complete lineup for the three-day festival that is now nearly a month away!
The full lineup in total has 300+ emerging artists from the PNW area that have been curated by local music influencers like Meli Darby and numerous guest curators. In addition to the lineup being diverse in genre, there are acts coming from all over our region, like Portland, Boise and Vancouver BC.
You may have had some time to familiarize yourself with the main stage acts, as the partial lineup was released a little over a month ago, but this morning (April 6) Upstream announced two new acts, Dinosaur Jr. and Jay Park. Jay Park is a local artist from Edmonds but has grown to substantial fame in the Korean market (he is literally referred to as the Korean 'Justin Beiber'). Other main stage acts include Flying Lotus, AlunaGeorge, Beat Conneciton, Deep Sea Diver, Shabazz Palaces, and Snarky Puppy.
The goal of the festival and summit is to support local and emerging artists and their journey in the music industry. On the flip side, with several new and possibly unknown artists in the lineup, the festival is a great opportunity for music lovers to find their new favorite jams.
Either way - we know the brainchild of Paul Allen will not disappoint, and it will be an experience to remember, NO DOUBT!
Upstream Music Fest + Summit is May 11-13th, taking place all throughout Pioneer Square in Seattle. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $95 for a two-day pass.
