Stone Gardens

Head to Stone Gardens’ Ballard or Bellevue location for an evening of helping each other balance, stretch and climb your way to the top. Dubbed “The Climber's Gym,” Stone Gardens offers 2.5 hour Climbing 101 classes where you will learn the basics of rock climbing, including climbing safety checks and belaying (climber-speak for managing the climber’s rope). The climbing lesson is less about muscle and more about balance and problem-solving. I wouldn't mind cheering my hubby on as he climbs to the top of a rock wall, what a view!

FrogLegs Culinary Academy

We've told you about the kids classes at FrogLegs but there's also adult-only cooking classes that make for the perfect date night.
