If you've been inside Pacific Place in downtown Seattle anytime in the last year, you'll definitely have noticed that the shopping center is going though some major renovations.
The downtown mall is home to more than 30 shops and restaurants (including AMC Pacific Place 11, Barney's New York and Din Tai Fung) announced their plans in March 2017 to undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation of their 339,000 square-foot, four-story building on Pine St., between 6th and 7th Avenues.
While the project is a little delayed (they were originally hoping to be done fall of 2018), they've already announced the addition of HaiDiLao, a modern take on traditional Sichuan-style hot pot dining. This will be the first U.S. location outside of California and is set to open winter 2019.
Check out the gallery above for additional renderings of the main changes coming to the shopping center - most notably a remodel of the center's common areas and a new South Lake Union-facing grand entrance.
