Local developer Andy Lakha is the mastermind behind what is possibly the most unique project ever to hit the Seattle area. It's called Avenue Bellevue—a two-tower development that will boast 332 luxury residences, the PNW's first-ever InterContinental Hotel, AND 85,000 square feet of high-end retail, food, and nightlife.
Lakha's vision started when he was a small boy in Pakistan. "Growing up in Pakistan, my entire world view of luxury was shaped by the InterContinental Hotel in Karachi, which at the time was the country's only five-star hotel," the CEO and Principal of Fortress Development said in a press release. He saw how the hotel changed lives for the better.
Now, as a Bellevue resident for more than 20 years, Lakha wants to bring world-class architecture to the world-class Bellevue and Seattle area.
Avenue Bellevue's InterContinental Hotel will feature 252 guest rooms, full-service spa and fitness center, meeting space, and other luxury amenities. And the 98 "Estate Homes" at this sleek, new development will be thoughtfully designed by a team of visionaries from across the globe who aim to elevate the standard of luxury in Bellevue.
Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), the world's leading hospitality interior design firm, has designed a stunning palette of flawless and luxurious details that make the homes and hotel rooms as unique and sophisticated as the city of Bellevue.
As if the top-of-the-line living and vacationing spaces weren't enough, the property will boast Angler seafood restaurant, headed by three-Michelin star chef Joshua Skenes.
All of these bold properties and amenities will break ground in mid-2019—keep your eyes peeled!
