Make the short drive to Stanwood for the Lights of Christmas Festival for lots of family fun.

Let's Go Places: Discover dazzling light displays at this Christmas festival

From twinkling lights to tiny reindeer, you can’t help but smile when you see Griswold-worthy Christmas decorations in your neighborhood. You too can have a “fun, old-fashioned family Christmas” without the hassle of hanging 25,000 lights from your own home. Just make the short drive to Stanwood for the Lights of Christmas Festival!

With more than 1,000,000 lights on display, a joke-telling Christmas tree named Bruce the Spruce, and visits with Santa, this family-friendly holiday festival is exciting for people of every age. Stroll through this winter wonderland and experience live entertainment, train rides for the kids, and mini donuts that will bring your stomach complete and utter joy.

This is an event your family won’t want to miss. And with the eight-passenger 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser, nobody will get left behind.

An off-road prowess.

For more than 60 years, the Toyota Land Cruiser has remained an icon around the globe in 4WD performance and reliability. Unmatched by any other SUV, the 2019 Land Cruiser’s 5.7L V8 engine with 381 horsepower and 401 lb.-ft. of torque will help you conquer any terrain with ease.

When your off-road travels get tough, enhanced 5-speed Crawl Control (CRAWL) will automatically modulate the throttle and brakes on five low-speed settings. Off-road Turn Assist (OTA) allows for a tighter turning radius in Crawl Control mode.

And it’s no secret that challenging terrain requires a different driving strategy. Multi-terrain Select and the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) are innovative systems that help control wheelspin, brake lockup, and traction to optimize driving performance over five of the most common off-road surfaces.

Need to check your immediate surroundings for potential trouble? The Multi-terrain Monitor allows you to check your front, rear, and sides with the touch of a button. Oh, and did we mention the towing capacity of 8,100 lbs?

A luxuriously comfortable drive.

The 2019 Land Cruiser is just as luxurious on the inside as powerful on the outside. The thoughtful design and stylish features make for an easygoing road trip.

The cockpit is made to impress with its leather-trimmed, heated steering wheel and perforated leather seating surfaces with front and rear multi-stage heating for chilly days. The mounted controls allow for easy-access audio, and the dashboard is ready to help you take command with a 9-inch, high-resolution, touchscreen display, and standard Entune Premium JBL audio with Integrated Navigation and Entune App Suite.

The kids will stay entertained on long rides with a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and snacks and drinks will stay nice and cool in the Land Cruiser’s center console cooler box.

If extra space is needed for a weekend adventure, the second- and third-row seats can fold down to open up over 80 cubic feet of cargo room. Even better, the Land Cruiser’s 50/50 split rear seats not only fold flat but also fold away against the interior walls of the vehicle to create a level load floor.

A ride that’s as solid as it looks.

Regardless of the adventure – whether cruising through the city or leaving civilization behind – drivers and passengers can rest assured with the vehicle’s standard Toyota Safety Sense-P, which includes plenty of features to keep you safe.

If an inadvertent lane departure is detected and there are visible lane markings, the Lane Departure Alert (LDA) system will issue both an audible alert and visual warning on the MID screen, so you can safely direct the vehicle back to the center of your lane. In-vehicle cameras can detect cars or pedestrians in front of you, and forward-sensing radar technology can identify the vehicle directly ahead of you, helping you to maintain appropriate speeds and avoiding crashes.

Automatic High Beams (AHB), a total of 10 airbags, a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) are other smart technologies that help keep you safe.

The 2019 Toyota Land Cruiser starts at an MSRP of $84,765 (the model featured in this segment is priced at $88,280) and is available in six colors: Blue Onyx Pearl, Brandywine Mica, Midnight Black Metallic, Blizzard Pearl, Classic Silver Metallic, and Magnetic Gray Metallic.
