Join award-winning Chef Edouardo Jordan on a culinary journey to save wildlife

Savor culinary delights from celebrity chefs, sip specialty cocktails crafted by the city's best mixologists, and save wildlife in the Pacific Northwest and around the globe, all in the company of the resident animals of Woodland Park Zoo. WildBites is your opportunity to experience the zoo after-hours while taking a culinary journey across the globe.

Seven of Seattle's best chefs will come together for WildBites on September 6, 2019. They will donate their time and talent to help raise funds for Woodland Park Zoo and wildlife conservation efforts worldwide. Each chef will prepare two specialty bites, created just for this event. Edouardo Jordan is one of those chefs.

You may know Chef Edouardo Jordan for his famed restaurant, JuneBaby, along with his two other restaurants, Salare and Lucinda Grain Bar. Jordan won two James Beard Awards in 2018: Best Chef Northwest for Salare Restaurant, and Best New Restaurant for JuneBaby. The restaurant also received a glowing three-star review from famed New York Times food critic Pete Wells, who only reviews restaurants outside of New York every few months.

Jordan's first restaurant, Salare, combines his French and Italian culinary training with some southern influences. JuneBaby is Jordan's second restaurant featuring elegant southern-style cooking inspired by his Florida roots. His third restaurant and bar, Lucinda Grain Bar focuses on ancient and heirloom grains sourced from local farms. All three of Jordan's restaurants are located in the Ravenna neighborhood in Seattle. Since the opening of Salare in 2015, Jordan's career has skyrocketed and he has since become one of the most notable chefs in the country.

Chef Edouardo Jordan will be in the company of six other renowned chefs from the Seattle restaurant scene during this exclusive 21+ evening at Woodland Park Zoo. Tickets include the opportunity to try two specialty bites from each chef, plus two drink tickets to be redeemed with your choice of beer, wine, or cocktail, and access to all zoo exhibits. All the animals will be out to join the party, plus ambassador animal encounters for those who want to get up close and personal with residents of the zoo.

Come ready to hang out on the lawn with your cocktail in hand while enjoying live music, entertainment, and other fun activities on the North Meadow. Experience the zoo like never before.

General admission tickets are $75 each and Premium tickets are $125, and are on sale now. The event will run from 5:00 pm-8:30 pm on September 6, 2019. Premium entry will begin at 4:00.
