Event Guide: Happy Halloweek!

It's that time if the year again where we all can get into our costumes and let loose! This years Halloween falls on Thursday, October 31 (in case you were wondering). This is great news for everyone, because there's a wide variety of events going on both that night, and the weekend after.

Thursday, October 31

Eternal Night at W Seattle. Break out those vintage threads and join W Seattle for their Eternal Night on Halloween. Starting at 8 p.m., DJ Mike Illvester will keep the party going until midnight. Admission is free and there are chances to win free drinks for the best dressed "freaky" costume.

Spellbound at W Bellevue. Party in the living room...the Living Room Bar that is! On Halloween night, W Bellevue is hosting their Spellbound Halloween party sponsored by party Don Julio Tequila. The party will start at 6:00 pm and run through 2:00 am the next morning with Don Julio drink specials and a DJ starting at 9:30 pm. Admission is free and is only for ages 21 and over.

Ben Paris 1920s Haunted Speakeasy. Get ready to party like its the roaring 20s. Ben Paris restaurant is throwing it back to the glitz and glamour of the elegant 1920s. Get your best Great Gatsby-like costume and enjoy a three-course dinner for $19.20, complete with festive cocktails. Speakeasy runs Oct. 31 through Nov. 3.

Halloween Party at the Smith Tower. Are you up to party with some ghosts this Halloween? If you said yes, the Smith Tower Observatory & Bar is the place to go Halloween Night. Allegedly, the Smith Tower is haunted by Seattle's first female mayor, Bertha Landes, Founder of Ivar's, Ivar Haglund, and other Seattle spirits. Come dressed to impress for a chance to receive a Rum Runner’s Card plus a $50 gift card to Smith Tower ($150 value)! Costume contest winners will be announced at 8:00 pm for each category; Most Spooky, Best Couple Costume, and a DIY Pro costume. Tickets are $25 all day for the event with festive drinks, food and a howling good time.

MNMS Fright Night. Vermiliion presents a Halloween Party hosted by Midnight Mindstate. Performance by Djime, Misfit Yeager, Operator, Ossor Matus, Thom Baum, and Jules Attempt will be starting at 6:00 pm Thursday, Halloween night. Admission is free for ages 21 and over. There will also be a costume contest with $100 grand prize.

The Crystal Ball Halloween Party. Come join the Mountaineering Club on the and party on the 16th floor of the Graduate Seattle Hotel with terrifyingly spectacular views of the Puget Sound. Starting at 6 p.m., you will first experience the spooktacular PNW sunset and continue to enjoy drink specials, tarot readings, aura photo illustrations and live music by Fat Forehead.

Also, if you aren't in costume, you can still appreciate their reduced admission price of $12. Halloween at High Dive. Stranger Things has taken the Netflix audience by storm! Prom Date Mixtape at the High Dive is going to be the ultimate tribute to the 80s with a Stranger Things theme.
