Ahh, Seattle. Where pups prevail over people - quite literally. Why do we have more puppy pals than children in this city? See below, and hence the whole reason for this article - and probably the reason you clicked on it. We love our dogs and want to incorporate them into as many parts of our lives as possible.
Meet Kenai, my trusted colleague on this day-long excursion. In honor of Seattle’s bond with our pups, Kenai and I traced a perfect dog’s day around Seattle.

Start (or end) your day with a cup of joe - and furbaby - by your side. Located in the heart of Capitol Hill lies a quaint coffee shop that invites both humans and pups in to enjoy the paper and a coffee, or your pup’s choice of treat. Thousands of Seattleites are now bringing their dogs to work, so finding a place to grab your coffee en route to work that's dog-friendly is more important now than ever. Stop in for a quick latte with a side of dog treat macchiato - Kaladi is not only dog friendly, but dog ready.
Seattle’s very own local doggie watering hole! Bones, treats, doggie accessories, a scale for daily use, and oh ya - the newest goody - doggie ice cream. Mud Bay adores our fur babies and offers unique doggie specialized goods and treats. The atmosphere isn't half bad either, with puppies meeting and greeting wherever they please.

Located just outside of downtown is a little-known off-leash dog park. Almost 10 acres of land slopes down facing the Seattle skyline, laying just on the outskirts of Beacon Hill. Jose Rizal Dog Park is a little oasis away from city life giving you and your dog an adventure with a view. Hidden amongst the trees lies a path system overlooking the Seattle skyline for pups to enjoy some grassy open space and pee with a view.

End the night with a little post work sip! This isn't like your ordinary after work brewski because Optimism is your doggie drink paradise. It is the best brewery and for you and your pup to mingle, meet new pups, or just make eyes at the cute doggies across the room. End on an optimistic note with free treats, good vibes, and fellow doggy lovers.
