Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Cake: Sorry Ombre, the Newest Hair Colors are Dessert-Inspired

If you're looking to update your hair color this holiday season, Gene Juarez has some sweet inspiration for you! Kim Lundin from the Gene Juarez Artistic Team gave us a "taste" of all the yummy looks that are inspired by the desserts of the season.

Warm Chocolate Cake

This look is a deep chocolate brown with rich depth and brightness added with warm-toned balayage highlights that add vibrancy and resemble layers of frosting from a decadent chocolate cake. Ask your stylist for a warm, rich brown for the base color, and balayage highlights that frame your face and get brighter toward the ends of your hair.

Pumpkin Spice

This multidimensional red color gives off a warm, seasonal effect that reminds us of fall leaves. The color can be customized for the client’s wishes and skin coloring, by introducing both dark and light reds, cinnamon tones, and copper, auburn or gold highlights.

Crème Brûlée

This rich color can feature base colors ranging from dark blonde to a light brown, with warm blonde highlights that are soft and blended. This is not a high-contrast look, with the highlights creating blonde and caramel-colored ribbons throughout the hair.
