Book Club Review: Here's what we thought of 'Turtles All The Way Down'

Our December/January book club pick, "Turtles All The Way Down" by John Green, was a doozy of a look at high school drama, and trauma. Aza is a high-schooler with crippling anxiety and OCD, on top of everything that comes along with just being a kid.

Our Refined Reads discussion group this month included several middle and high school teachers, which gave us a unique look into what this Young Adult book means for that age group, and how they're liking it (not just us boring old adults)!

We won't give any spoiler alerts here (don't watch the video if you haven't finished) - but it was a great discussion filled with high school memories - good, and bad!

We've already announced the February book as "Promise Not To Tell" by Jayne Ann Krentz, which we'll be discussing March 1 at the Seward Park location of Third Place Books.
