You no longer have to go to the internet to get your Korean beauty fix. Nordstrom is hosting Korean Beauty Pop-Ins in several stores – including here in Seattle - as well as an online website, featuring more than 500 products. This is basically a beauty lover’s fantasy. Korean beauty goodies have a ‘cult following’ - no joke. You may have heard of a few of the brands included before like, Too Cool For School and Chosungah 22. Many of the participating companies are making their North American debut. Sheet masks, jelly shadows, skin swabs, accessories, and even men's grooming products are available for purchase.
Why are these products such a hit? The Korean beauty offerings have quickly risen to fame over the past few years. But how exactly did this happen? Part of this answer has to do with all the innovation coming out of South Korea. Also women in the U.S. approach beauty different today than they did in the past, there's a more holistic approach and especially in Seattle. I dig it; less is more. I think we've learned that you can't cover up everything with makeup forever, you have to work on the skin from the inside out. It's a tough lesson, boo!
Look at Actress Emma Stone, she loves one Korean Beauty product in-particular...
Like most pop-ups, this one will only last for a limited time (until March 26, to be exact), so we’ve gone ahead and scouted some of the best products for you, so you have literally no excuses not to buy everything before the end of March (except, like, a lack of money). However, there are rumors that if the pop-up is popular Nordstrom may consider permanently expanding its K-beauty offerings, YAY for us! Regardless, see you in the checkout line (prayers that I don't max out my Nordy's card).
