You deserve a little YOU time every once in a while. Life gets so hectic that sometimes we forget about our own needs. But part of overall wellness is taking time to focus on you, it’s not selfish; it's totally necessary. So we’ve rounded up some of our FAV ways to spend some quality time with the most important person in your life: YOU.
Head to Yuan Spa in Bellevue, trust me. It’s not your average spa. Yes, they have services like massages, facials, mani/pedi. But there’s so much more offered to enhance your experience. I went on a solo mish to the spa on a Tuesday afternoon and literally spent hours in the hydrotherapy pools. You can get a day pass for $45 and enjoy the pools, sauna and steam room all day. The steam room is magical btw, there’s lights on the ceiling that make the room feel like you’re looking up at a star-filled sky. Plus, you’re given different kinds of salts to self-exfoliate. I left feeling super refreshed and my skin was glowing.
Work it Out
We all know exercise is a huge stress reliever, plus it helps you look good and when you look great, you feel great. I feel totally recharged after a 45-minute Flywheel spin class at the South Lake Union location (there's also a Bellevue location). The thing I like about this spin class is that you’re on your own, but you ‘compete’ in a group setting. Plus, it's dark so you can be a sweaty mess without judgment, and the first class is FREE!

Solo Day Trip
Hop on a ferry! We live in such a beautiful state with water and hiking galore. One of my FAV solo day trips is a ferry ride to Bainbridge where I spend the day shopping, eating seafood and of course sipping a glass of wine (or 3).
Other tips to enhance YOU. Eat one plate of leafy greens a day. Look in the mirror and say something nice about yourself everyday.
