This clothing line is made of recycled plastic bottles

Nube9 makes clothing out of fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, attempting to use art and fashion to inspire people to think more about the things they buy, use and waste. Their newest collection is called "The Plastix Generation", and partners with artist, activist and environmentalist Chris Jordan to push the "we are what we consume" message. Two million plastic soda and water bottles are used in the United States every 15 minutes.

In addition to its latest clothing line, NUBE 9 partnered with Seattle Seahawks' Michael Bennett to deliver 125 new uniforms to kids who play for South Park Junior Football. It takes about 50 recycled bottles to create each uniform.

Nube9 Studio is located at 1415 Tenth Ave Studio 2, Seattle, WA 98122.
