It's officially February which means...time to make those rezzies! You know what they say - the way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach! Here’s where you and your loved one should plan to eat on the 14th (book now, they go fast!):
Chef Eric Rivera has prepared a six-course meal with an optional beverage pairing. The holiday meal is $220 per couple and $125 for the optional beverage pairing. The six courses have been divided into “chapters” and let me give you a little preview of chapter one. White asparagus, Dungeness crab, scallops, oysters, and a champagne pairing. And that’s just the first “chapter” folks!
Heartwood opened up last year in February so naturally, they are making their Valentine’s dinner extra special by extending their offer from February 9th until Valentine’s Day. Their five-course "Romantic Valentine’s Dinner for Two" includes their signature dishes including Kusshi Oysters to Filet Mignon. The romantic special is offered at $95 per person.
Get ya booties down to the waterfront from Six Seven’s four-course prix fixe menu at $95 per person. A variety of dishes will be offered such as Dungeness Crab Salad, Lobster Crepes Gratinee, Petit Winter Lettuce Salad, Lobster, etc etc. You know, all the good stuff.
The steakhouse is offering up their “Dine & Be Mine Dinner.” Ah so clever, I love it. The Dine & Be Mine is a three-course dinner including a Seafood tasting for two, filet tournedos and much more. The dinner is $69 per person and increases to $79 per person after 5 p.m.
Celebrate your Valentine’s Day a few days early on February 11th, for the “Tippy Top” experience. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online. Here are some highlights:
- Arrive to their specialty cocktail, “Hiya Dollface.” This libation includes Irish Whiskey, pomegranate, and cinnamon.
- Listening to some live soul music by local Chris Anderson starting at 8 pm.
- Try some food off their pairing menu
- Sipping from their “Love on 35” cocktail menu with libations like Hanky Panky and Love Potion No. 35.
Okay so maybe you don’t need reservations to go and grab yourself a cupcake from Cupcake Royale, but they are offering new Valentine’s inspired Cupcakes for the entire month of February. New flavors include Deathcake Royale, Dulce de Leche, P-nut Butta ‘Magic Shell’, Nutella Crunch, and Black Forest.
This restaurant is located in Woodinville and will be celebrating the day of love with foods and wines of the Pacific Northwest. There will be a “thematic” NINE-course (SAY WHAT!) that will be matched with wines. The dinner will run from February 10-12, Feb 14, and Feb 17-19 with a price tag of $225-285 per person. All I can say is, bring an empty stomach!
So if you aren’t into a nine-course meal, call your friends at Miller’s Guild to reserve your spot for their five-course Valentine’s menu of wood-grilled craft cooking. To reserve your spot, it’s $95 per person and includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The Valentine’s dinner will also be offered from February 10th through the 14th.
For $60 a person, Ray’s is offering a three-course menu on Valentine’s Day. Last seating is at 10 pm. As for Ray’s Café, they will offer elegant surf and turf options and drink specials. Last seating is at 9 p.m.
Feel at home in this craftsman house turned restaurant that will host a prix fixe menu for $85 with an optional wine pairing for $50. This special dinner will be available from Feb. 10-11th and on Valentine’s Day.
Nothing says "love" like Italian food ammmmiririte?! Agrodolce is offering their three-course menu or four-course vegetarian option from February 10-12th and February 14th. There will also be gluten-free and vegan options as well. This meal is offered at $75 per person with a $35 optional wine pairing.
Get your Latin fix at Casco Antiguo located in Pioneer Square. Their Valentine’s Day special will run through February 10-11 and on February 14th. Instead of a prix fix menu, they will have special a la carte items that go alongside their normal menu. Items include Elot ($8), Coliflor ($9), Enchilada de Camarones ($11) and much more.
RN74 is offering a special menu on Valentine’s Day only. The “tasting” menu will have items like smoked local oysters, Maine Lobster Ravioli, Arctic Char, Crown Roast of Duck and more. You’re looking at a price tag of$105 per person with an optional bubbles pairing for $55 or $75 for grande wine pairing.
If you and your significant other are the “activity” type and want to get out and do something together – then the “Couples Mixology Class” on February 11th is perfect for you. The mixology class starts at 1 pm and runs through 3 pm and will be taught by the bartenders of Young American Ale House. The class is $75 per person
As for the Valentine’s Dinner options, The Valentine’s Day dinner specials will run from Feb 10-12 and on Valentine’s Day. The full three-course meal is offered at $50 per person with an optional wine pairing for $25 or an optional beer pairing for $20.
Shiro’s will offer a special cocktail to celebrate the holiday of love. The cocktail is called the Peach Obsession which is made of champagne, peach puree, and is garnished with fresh raspberries. Go get this Valentine’s cocktail from February 7-14th.
Eden Hill will have a five-course prix fixe menu planned for guests on Valentine’s Day. The dinner is $115 per person with additional wine pairings.
Calling all you vegetarians! Café Flora is hosting a meal that is not only vegetarian but it is also vegan and gluten free. This four-course meal is available on Valentine’s Day only, at $75 per person.
Head to everyone’s favorite German joint in Pioneer Square. The Valentine’s Day festivities begin on February 10th and run through the 14th. Sample German Beer and chocolate flights, including four beers and four flights!
Head out to SeaTac for Copperleaf's Valentine's Day dinner. Starting at 5:30 p.m. and cost $95 per person with an additional wine pairing for $45.
Get up north and head to Semiahmoo resort for a Valentine's Day getaway! Pierside will be having their V-Day dinner on the weekend of February 11-12th and on the 14th as well. Seating starts at 5 pm and is $65 per person.
Again – it’s not a successful Valentine’s Day without having some dessert. For the entire month of February, Trophy cupcakes will offer their Dark Chocolate Raspberry cupcake as well as three special Valentine's macaron. The flavors are Chocolate-Covered Strawberry, Cherry Cordial, and Special Edition Red Velvet.
For $85 bucks per person, Marine Hardware is offering a feast of Fried Oysters, Dungeness crab salad, leek and potato soup, assorted bonbons and pear sorbetto. Yum yum!
For $55 per person, entree choices include Dynamite chicken for two with grits and collard greens, tagliarini with Gulf prawns, spicy tomato, white wine, and herbs.
If you are interested in getting a family style meal, head to Anchovies & Olives for a seafood dishes such as ahi tuna with preserved lemon, hearts of palm, endive, and saffron, smoked black cod brandade with fennel. Add three oysters and a glass of prosecco for $17, or a full wine pairing for $55.
$85/person dinner with dishes like Hamachi crudo with blood orange, puffed farro, and anise, and gnocchi with braised lamb, mushrooms, marjoram, tomato, and Taleggio.
$85/person feast with shared dishes like roasted sunchoke soup with ikura and apple balsamic and a Wagyu ribeye cap with Robuchon potatoes. Add on black truffles for $15 or a half-dozen oysters and Muscadet for $20.
$85/person menu with options like steamed mussels, seared scallops, and grilled culotte steak. Dessert brings profiteroles, crème brûlée, or sorbet with shortbread.
$85/person menu with pasta options like truffle ravioli with braised leeks, cured egg yolk, and Grana Padano, and linguine nero with Manila clams, uni, tomato confit, mint, and pangrattato. Tiramisu for dessert!
$85/person meal begins with a selection for the table: parsnip & pear soup, speck and torta fritta, roasted baby beets, ahi tuna with uni and lime, oysters, steak tartare, and more!
Both Tavolàtas, in Belltown and on Capitol Hill, will have $85/person menus with choices like roasted lobster, Snake River Farms zabuton steak, and seared duck breast.
Raccolto will be serving up a three-course dinner for $70/person. For each course, you will have your choice of about four or five different options. Their menu has a mix of both surf and turf.
For $75 per person, head to Vendemmia for a three-course meal. They are also offering four to five different options for each course. Think salmon, Anderson Valley lamb, Dungeness crab, ahi tuna and a lot more.
If you are single and are feeling a bit "bitter" about the lover's holiday, head over to Lark and their Bitter/Raw bar who will be serving up a family-style, anti-Valentine's Day sort of thing. Dinner will be served family-style up in the mezzanine, and there will be a handful of special bitters-based, amaro-centric cocktails available to order (get it?!). The dinner is $55/person, with cocktails and wine available for purchase, and is limited to 24 guests... SO GET ON IT! Alternative V-Day plans, FTW.
Head out to Bainbridge Island to try Hitchcock's eight-course tasting menu that includes island raised Mangalitsa pork, winter squash with mole, lingcod, and oysters!
Enjoy a four-course meal for $65 each on February 14th. Starters include Dungeness Crab Cakes and Goat Cheese Croquettes followed by a beet salad. You can choose either Seared Scallops or Washington Truffle Risotto for your entree, followed by a champagne cheese cake for desert.
Elysian is featuring crafted Northwest beers, hand built cocktails, and scratch made Northwest inspired cuisine. The prix fix three course meal is offered for $40 a person. The menu includes Beef Tartare, Soy Lime Glazed Ahi Tuna, and Huckleberry Semifreddo with Chocloate Genache for desert.
If you are looking for a getaway, The Restaurant at Alderbrook is offering a five-course romance tasting menu for $80/person with optional wine pairings for $35, throughout the month of February. However on Valentine's Day, there will be musical guest Tarik Bentlesmasani who will preform during dinner. The month long romantic menu includes Chilled oysters, tempura cauliflower, weathervane scallops, lamb loin, and chocolate terrine for desert.
