This Seattle ramen shop is one of the Hottest Restaurants in the U.S.

Zagat recently published an article of The Hottest Restaurants in 15 American Cities and a Capitol Hill ramen spot made the list!

Betsutenjin Ramen opened their doors last month and has rapidly become a ramen hot spot. The cozy Japanese shop serves up hakata-style pork bone ramen and dumplings.

I’m not well versed when it comes to ramen, but here’s what our friends over at Zagat had to say:

Must-order: The menu is incredibly brief here, clocking in at just four items — two types of ramen, gyoza and lobster salad. We say bring a friend and order the whole shebang. If you have to choose just one, go for the original hakata-style pork-filled ramen.

They also included an insider tip:

The longer these noodles sit in the broth, the softer they get. Slurp, slurp, slurp as fast as you can to preserve the integrity of the noodle.

Let us know if you’ve been there and what you think! We might need to venture over there and see what all the fuss is about. For the entire article, click here.
