Snoqualmie Casino has dough for you this weekend at Taste Washington

Although Snoqualmie Casino is best known for giving out dough in the form of big winnings, the Snoqualmie Casino culinary team will be joining the region's finest restaurants and wineries at Taste Washington with some dough of their own....the edible kind!

Make no mistake, Snoqualmie Casino Executive Sous Chef, Justin Lee and Pastry Chef Chuck Dugo have every intention of making an impression on Seattle foodies with the newest creation to come out of the kitchen at Vista Prime Steaks and Seafood. They have created two unique cookie doughs that will not only bring out your inner child but will ignite your senses in a new way.

Saturday's dough, affectionately known as Pretty Piggy, provides a delectable sweet treat with a savory surprise. If the pecan shortbread cookie dough wasn't delicious enough, this heavenly mouthful is topped with Banana Cremeux, a French term used to describe a dense, soft, classic pudding. The Marsala wine, mascarpone, and lime give this pudding a unique flavor and texture that complement the dough perfectly. The savory surprise comes in the form of adobo-maple candied bacon. And a surprise it is! The bacon provides the perfect blend of salty with a bit of heat that is nothing less than amazing. To complete this little piece of heaven, Pretty Piggy is topped with a bite-sized cumin-bruleed banana. The caramelized banana also provides a bit of a punch which is an unexpected delight.

On Sunday, Pretty Piggy stays at the farm, and off to school we dough! Private School goes to the head of the class and is sure to get straight A's across the board! Inspired by America's favorite sandwich, this cookie dough will have you reminiscing of those special school days long forgotten. In other words, this is no ordinary PB&J. Peanut butter cookie dough infused with wilted grapes and toasted bread pudding may easily be one of the most comforting tastes to ever make its way to your lips. Topped with a swirl of Chantilly and a light, decadent tuile made from Valrhona Dulcey Blonde Chocolate and CB's Peanut Butter, this wafer is the perfect "bookend" to the Private School experience.

When asked about the inspiration behind these new creations, Chef Lee shares, "Our industry is always evolving. For us to stay relevant, we need to continue to experiment and push ourselves beyond what we think possible. Our goal at Snoqualmie Casino is to offer our guests unique tastes and experiences they cannot find elsewhere."

The culinary team at Snoqualmie Casino is always pushing the envelope and going outside the box when it comes to creating new menu items for the Eastside's premiere entertainment and dining destination.
