Polar Bar

This elegant and romantic bar is the perfect retreat from the night. Part of the Arctic Club Hotel, this upscale yet cozy spot is resplendent with delightfully old school bartenders, cozy seats and cinematic vibes for days. Bonus points go to you if you nab spots by the homey fireplace.

Miller's Guild

Located below Hotel Max, the open plan here makes it easy for you to catch all the action. The speakeasy vibe here is perfectly conducive to a classy tete a tete with good company. Don't miss the tongue in cheek cocktails like the King Kong Brigade (Rittenhouse Rye, Campari, Lemon, Orgeat) and Billion Dollar Baby (Miller's Guild Aged Casked Belvedere vodka, banana liqueur, Kina L'avion D'or, chocolate bitters).

The Tin Lizzie Lounge

The punny sister establishment to Queen Anne's MarQueen, is the perfect spot to hit before or after a movie at Uptown. Quite possibly one of the chillest spots in the neighborhood, Tin Lizzie hosts a killer happy hour and has great bar bites to boot. Hot tip, ladies: Thursday is Ladies Night so pop on by with the girls.

Frolik

Touting a view without equal, this super mod bar sits atop the Motif Hotel downtown. Line up along the outdoor fire at this fifth floor bar and warm up with their lavish cocktail menu. Sweeten the deal with games like shuffleboard and ping pong while taking in the twinkly view of the city at night and you'll be in for a night you won't soon forget.

The Terrace Lounge

A loungey piano bar, The Terrace Lounge lives in the Fairmont Hotel just off University. Featuring complimentary bar snacks and a solid cocktail menu, this romantic little gem is a great spot to regroup with drink in hand.
