$1 Tacos? Rosita's in Greenlake is throwing it back to 1979 pricing for one day only

Okay, listen. You know we'd never steer you wrong, which is why you to immediately cancel all plans for Tuesday, April 9:

Rosita's will be selling tacos for $1 a pop Tuesday, April 9th.

You did not read that wrong, ladies and gent. $1 tacos? Sign me up five times over!

Rosita's is turning 40, and throwing it back to their 1979 opening prices. Ah, what a time to be alive.

Crunchy Tacos will be going for $1 each (shredded beef, chicken, or black bean) AND their famous Rosita's Margaritas are just $3 from 11:30am - 10:00 pm.

"I want to thank the community for supporting Rosita's for 40 years," said co-owner Sergio Uvence Lopez. "When my sister and I opened the restaurant in the late 70s we were the only two employees. I never imagined that it would grow into what it has today. Watching generations of families come in over the years has been a privilege. I look forward to our big 40th celebration fundraiser in August. Muchas gracias, Seattle!"

This isn't the only event they will be putting on during 2019. Keep your eyes peeled for their fundraisers Saturday, August 17th, when all the sales on that day will be donated to the Seattle Children's Hospital uncompensated care fund.
