Kelly Sparks of Queen Bee Mixology is graciously sharing a new cocktail with us every week, just in time for Happy Hour. Did you know that The Sidecar cocktail is actually named after the motorcycle attachment? And here we thought it just sounded cool. Sweet, tangy, and easy to like, the classic cocktail has quickly become a new Queen Bee and Sidekick Cyndi favorite.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. Cognac
  • 1.5 oz Cointreau
  • Lemon
  • Sugar
  • Orange Wedge

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Rim serving glass with lemon and dip into plate of sugar to create sugar rim
  2. Add 2 oz Cognac to glass filled with ice
  3. Add 1.5 oz Cointreau, juice of 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon
  4. Stir
  5. Pour into serving glass
  6. Garnish with orange wedge
  7. Enjoy!
