Permanent Seattle area restaurant closures, amidst COVID-19 outbreak

As of Monday, March 16 - Governor Jay Inslee has closed all bars and restaurants, in-dining only (delivery and pickup are still allowed). We will continue to update permanent closures as we hear them.

Heartbroken about the state of our restaurant industry? You can help. Here is a list of local restaurants who are still open, who are offering delivery, pick-up, to-go and no contact options to maintain their business. If you usually eat out often, we urge you to still do that through one of these businesses, in a way that makes you feel safe, comfortable and healthy.

Permanently Closed

Local 360 Café & Bar 2234 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98121. “With a sad heart, we are announcing that Local 360 Café & Bar will be closing immediately due to the impacts of the Covid-19 situation. After all the group dining cancellations this month, accounting for likely impacts to Seattle tourism this summer, possible mandatory quarantine measures, and modeling shorter hours with fewer staff, it became clear that closing entirely is the only current option. Thank you for 10 wonderful years! Never say never.”

Arriba Cantina 2316 NE 65th St #101, Seattle, WA 98115. "It is with a heavy heart that we announce our last day of service will be Friday, March 13th, due to the decrease in business as a result of the Corona Virus (COVID-19). We would love to see everyone and have our guests enjoy one last meal before we say goodbye."

Cursed Oak in Belltown 2137 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121. "We are closing our doors today. Very tough seeing all the businesses suffering. It seems as though the city is forgetting about its children and creating an atmosphere not conducive to keeping small business alive. I’m not sure how any small business can come out of a brutal winter only to be hit by this now. We wish everyone luck!"

The Brooklyn Seafood, Steak & Oyster House 1212 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98101. "It is with heavy hearts that we announce effective Friday, March 13, 2020, we will be permanently closing our doors due to the devastating economic impact of global events. Thank you all."

Pintxo 2219 4th Ave, Seattle, WA. "Although we are devastated to close our restaurant, we are going to have one last event open to the public this Sunday (3/15) starting at 3 PM. Come eat paella with us and support the Seattle restaurant community!"

Branchwater 2219 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121. "It is with a heavy heart that we announce Pintxo and Branchwater are closed as of March 11th. The COVID-19 crisis has drained our resources and we can no longer keep our doors open."
