Duke's Chowder House. This PNW favorite has been open for 39 years and is opening another location in the Shilshole Bay Marina! Unfortunately we do have a bit of a wait as the eatery is slated to open in 2019.

Dot's Butcher and Deli. The Pike Place sandwich shop closed up last week because the shop wasn't doing as well as it needed in order to stay afloat. According to Eater, Dot's opened in Pike Place last July and has had previous locations in Fremont but none have ever stuck. Apparently Dot's has quite a fan base and their closing is sure to break some hearts.

Young American Ale House. After opening in October, Maria Hines has decided to shut down her American gastro-pub, Young American Ale House, Eater reports. I am really saddened by this news because I really liked this place! Good food and cocktails. Maaaaan, sad day, folks. Sad day.
