How much are Seattleites paying for their coffee?

Seattleites love their coffee, blah blah blah, you've heard it a million times. But how much are you paying for that cup o' Joe as compared to other cities around the world?

Service Partner One put together a coffee price index that compares the value of coffee between 75 cities worldwide. Seattle falls at #50, which 1 = Cheapest and 75 = Most Expensive.

We have definitely heard old tripe that Seattle coffee is pricey, but this makes us feel better that we're not the priciest!

Here’s the pricing for Seattle’s coffee:

  • Office coffee: $0.58
  • Starbucks: $3.65
  • Independent Coffee Shop: $4.32
  • Home Coffee: $0.49
  • Average Cost: $2.26

The study showed the cheapest places for coffee are Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, and Lima; and the most expensive are Basel, Switzerland, Copenhagen, Denmark, and Zurich, Switzerland.
