We heard through the grapevine that Taste Washington is the ultimate wine and food lovers' experience (but seriously, you don't want to miss this). From March 28-31, 2019, you can sample wine from more than 235 wineries, taste bites from 65 restaurants, and chat with 60 exhibitors and a few of the nation's most talented chefs (lots of whom call Seattle home!).
This entire sipping and snacking experience takes place over the span of four days, but only one exclusive event offers you the chance to taste the best of Washington's wine. The Red & White Party on March 28 takes you "into the cellars" of Washington's premier winemakers, featuring Gilles Nicault of Long Shadows, Chris Sparkman of Sparkman Cellars, and Chris Upchurch of DeLille Cellars. The Red & White Party is the only event at Taste Washington where you get to sip wine club-only bottles and experience more than 90-point pours!
Held at the renowned AQUA by El Gaucho on Seattle's waterfront, this elegant affair encourages you to dress the part. Break out your favorite show-stopping red or white attire and come prepared for a fashionable evening of unmatched sophistication.
As for the food, you can expect the menu to be as glamorous as the event itself. Kevin Benner, executive chef at AQUA by El Gaucho, has created a menu complete with kalbi short ribs, crispy rice with BBQ eel, pistachio fudge, banana cream pie, and so much more.
This is an intimate event with limited tickets available. Check out the full list of participating wineries and buy tickets at tastewashington.org/red-white-party-2019.
