Ballard Bar, or Summer Camp? You won't be able to tell the difference at this Pop-Up

The phrase, "Cracking a cold one open with the boys," may be a little outdated, but if anything could bring it back, it's probably this themed event.

The Gerald, a cocktail bar in Ballard, is having a special cocktail pop-up from July 5 -15 called Camp Firewood, at which you'll be sure to have summer camp flashbacks.

The theme? 'Camp Style a la Wet Hot American Summer'.

The cocktail menu will include the likes of Boozy Bomb Pops, Orange Creamsicle Fizz, Rainier Cherry Spritz' in red solo cups and cocktails flowing from Igloo Dispensers.

Let's not forget campfire favorites, coolers full of canned beers, gourmet hot dogs, Sloppy Joes and a faux “bonfire” in The Botanic Room.

But while The Gerald is busy serving us adults drinks, they're looking to serve something else to the kids of Washington. A portion of proceeds garnered from this event will go to Treehouse, a charity organization that helps foster kids in need, specifically their Little Wishes program, which focuses on helping send foster kids to summer camp.
