ATTENTION. Ethan Stowell is opening a new restaurant and as big fans of the veteran restaurateur, this news DID NOT fall upon deaf ears.
Cortina will be opening up in the spring in downtown Seattle with a menu that will feature modern Italian bar food. Guests can expect a "robust selection" (ooh-la-la) of small plates, salads, pizzas, pasta, entrees, and approachable local and Italian wines.
Designed by Heliotrope Architects, the bar area will offer seating for 74 with 30 spots at the bar as well as a casual lounge area that will accommodate 15. The dining room will sit 60 guests with an 800 square foot private dining room.
As for commander in chef, Kyl Haselbauer, previously of Anchovies & Olives, will take helm.
Prepare yourself for more beautiful and delicious meals from Ethan Stowell!
Cortina will be located in Two Union Square, at the base of the Two Union Tower at 621 Union Street
