Drinks inspired by ‘The Bachelor’ that are sure to make you swoon

Hopeful romantics, rejoice: ‘The Bachelor’ is hosting a casting call in Seattle.

As with any successful cocktail party, you might need a little bit of liquid courage. So, before you pour your heart out to an ABC executive, pour one of these aphrodisiac cocktails.

Seattle Refined’s Britt Thorson rounded up bartenders from three Pacific Place restaurants and challenged each of them to create a Bachelor-inspired drink in one minute. The only thing that could make these drinks better is if Chris Harrison had concocted them.

“He Loves Me.” Deran from Din Tai Fung fashioned this gin-based cocktail using Hendrick’s Gin, Aperol, Montenegro Amaro, and lemon juice—making for a drink that’s dramatic in taste and presentation. Devan delicately dropped a rose petal (from the final rose, we presume?) to finish off the cocktail. If the rose petal fell into the glass, “He Loves Me.” If it falls anywhere but, “He Loves Me NOT.” Thanks goodness it fell into the glass on this one! The Aperol not only gives it a citrus-y flavor, but the rosey color is perfect for Bachelor lovers.

“Passionate Pineapple.” Love is the spice of life. That’s why Adrian from Mexico Cantina Y Cocina added a little kick to his south of the border cocktail. He started with Milagro Silver Tequila and flavored it with charred jalapeno and chile salt. Although we certainly like it hot, a touch of sweetness is nice too. That’s why the drink was topped off with pineapple-infused agave syrup and Mezcal. And let us tell ya, it was PASSIONATE.

“The Flirtini.” Dare we say that the final drink is perfect for the Fantasy Suite? This was Britt’s top choice based on its “suite,” fruity flavor. Austin at Il Fornaio kept it simple with Reyka vodka, Cointreau, prosecco - and adorned the glass with Amarone cherry and fresh pineapple. One sip of this beverage is all you’ll need to make your way to the mansion. This was a favorite at last year’s casting call as well, for a reason!
