The Tipperary proves that the Irish know how to make a great cocktail — it takes its name from the song "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" sung by Irish Soldiers during WWI and gets its piquant flavor from the unique addition of green chartreuse. For the full Queen Bee experience, we highly recommend the final presentation with a threaded cherry and orange peel garnish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 oz. Irish whiskey
  • 1 oz. sweet vermouth
  • .5 oz. green chartreuse
  • .5 oz. chilled water
  • 1 bar spoon of sugar
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Garnish with orange peel wrapped Luxardo cherries

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice and stir until well chilled
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass
  3. Garnish with orange peel wrapped Luxardo cherries
