Celebrate like a Parisian: Bastille Day Bites

Happy Bastille Day! July 14th is French National Day or otherwise known as "Bastille Day." There are a few Bastille Day events happening around town if you are looking for somewhere to hang out or dine!

RN74. There are two events happening at RN74! For the general admission party, the RN74 bar and lounge will have food, drinks, and entertainment. The evening will include passed hors d'oeuvres such as oysters, artisanal cheese, charcuterie and french bites. There will also be themed cocktails, champagne, select beer and wine, and live music with burlesque dancers and a photobooth. General admission tickets are $45 and runs from 3-10p.

You can also buy tickets to their party AND their dinner. The dinner will be a three-course menu with wine pairings. There will be three options for each course. The full menu with wine pairings will be $125. That price also includes access to the party as well! You must buy your tickets in advance, here.

Bastille Day Party. The Alliance Fran├žaise de Seattle is throwing their annual Bastille Day Party on Thursday, July 13 from 6p-8p. There will be Woodhouse wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a "Find the French" blind tasting competition. They will also have music from the AFSeattle Choir. Tickets are $25 and $30 at the door. 21+

Le Pichet. Celebrate down in Pike Place with Le Pichet. They will be having a cafe style celebration with a special menu of Paris street food and live music. There is no cover charge and no reservations! The festivities begin at 6p and the two bands that are playing are "La Foule" and "The Django Matics."

Bastille. I mean is there any better place to celebrate Bastille Day then at Bastille? Probably not. The party will begin on Bastille's terrace with rose flowing for only $5 all day. There will be French inspired cocktails, with kegs from Reuben's Brews. There will also be a pig roasting outside, savory snacks, and an oyster bar. For entertainment there will be live music, and burlesque shows.

Cafe Campagne. Cafe Campagne's Bastille Day party is in it's 15th year! They will have live music, burlesque performances, food, wine and beer. Oysters will also be available all weekend. Better yet, there are no reservations or tickets so you can just roll in! Events will begin at 4:30 and will run through 10p.

Bottlehouse. This Madrona joint is hosting a Bastille Day Patio Party with live music by Tsunami Pinata and will have curated French wine tasting and Parisian street food specials. Tickets are $16 and the party will start at 5p and will run through 8p.

Luc. Luc is bringing their party outdoors this year to Madison Park for their Chef Thierry Rautereau's annual brunch buffet celebration! There will be drinks and live music by Brandon Vance, Toby Hanson, Janet "Elle" Rayor, and Clayton Murray! You have to reserve your spot with tickets ranging in price from $15-$30. The party goes from 4pm-midnight.

Maximilien. Maximilien is throwing their event with a three-course dinner menu with entertainment from an accordionist, Bonnie Birch, from 5p-9p. The event itself will start at 5p and run through 10p. Be sure to reserve your spot beforehand!
