Man, Canlis is making dreams come true one pop-up at a time.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 12 because the highlight of the summer is happening. Milk Bar and Canlis are hosting and ice cream social and bake sale for the ages.
Both parties will be serving up grub, Milk Bar with some of their iconic treats including their Cereal Milk Soft Serve, Crack Pie, and a variety of their truffles and cookies.
For the savory side, Canlis is bringing their Brady William’s interpretation of country fair classics including turkey legs, corn on the cob, corn dogs, fried cheese and popcorn.
If this foodie bonanza isn’t intriguing enough, there will also be live music by the Tallboys, carnival games and beer and wine.
And we had to ask Milk Bar - any plans of opening a joint in Seattle?!
"Though there are no concrete plans to open a Milk Bar in Seattle, we love throwing bake sales in cities we LOVE, and that love us back," said Christina Tosi, the founder and owner of Milk Bar. "When I'm deciding where to build a Milk Bar next, my first requirement is that it's in a place that feels like home. Community is key."
Thank you Canlis for all the important work you do for our community.
