Eat at Li'l Woody's this month to give back to charity

The holiday season is one of the most generous times of the year.

With December being the 'Month of Giving,' Li'l Woody's Burgers & Shakes was inspired to give back to our community this year. Partnering with four different non-profits focused on homelessness, Li'l Woody's collaborated with organizations that benefit Capitol Hill, Ballard, South Lake Union, and White Center.

Here's how it works - each week, Li'l Woody's will have a burger on the menu in which proceeds will go to benefit a specific charitable organization. Let's break down the dates so you can choose which charity you'd like to donate to AND which burger sounds the most delicious:

December 4th - December 10th

Garden Works Burger: Green Goddess Dressing, Pickled Carrots, Peppers and Cucumbers, Swiss cheese, 1/3 lb. Painted Hills Grass-Fed Beef

Proceeds go to YouthCare - Interagency Garden Works. The Garden Works program at YouthCare has partnered with the Seattle Public School's to help young kids of Columbia City learn about urban farm management and growing food. The students in the program learn skills and confidence about growing and cooking healthy food.

December 11th - December 17th

Give a Little Love Chicken Sandwich: Jerk Coconut Fried Chicken, Beecher’s New Woman Cheese, Grilled Pineapple and Coleslaw, Mama Lil’s Garlic Aoli, Garlic-buttered Hawaiian Bun

Proceeds go to Operation Sack Lunch (OSL). OSL is the delivery service of organic sack lunches to the streets of Seattle. Annually, they serve more than one million hot meals, three meals a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

December 18th - December 23rd

Mary's Place-Kids Club Burger: Apricot Jam, Brie Cheese, Bacon, Peanut Butter, 1/3 lb. Painted Hills Grass-Fed Beef

Proceeds go to Mary's Place - No Child Sleeps Outside Program. Mary's Place gives power back to homeless women, children, and families that need shelter, resources, and healing. The No Child Sleeps Outside program is working towards their goal of $2million to open a new shelter for families in downtown.

December 26th - December 31st

St. Luke's-Edible Hope Kitchen Burger: Beecher’s Flagship Cheese Sauce, Onion Jam, Bacon, Egg, 1/3 lb. Painted Hills Grass-Fed Beef
